Under this new agreement, Serko will acquire GetThere, Sabre\u2019s established business travel management platform, in a strategic move designed to enhance and expand travel solutions for business travelers worldwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The acquisition outlines a forward-looking partnership between Sabre and Serko aimed at harnessing and amplifying product capabilities for corporate customers. Through this alliance, both companies plan to bolster the offerings available to travel management companies (TMCs), corporate travel buyers, and business travelers alike. A focal point of the collaboration includes joint efforts in commercial development, sales, and marketing strategies with a primary growth emphasis in North America, while simultaneously extending reach into other global markets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once the transaction is complete, ownership of GetThere will fully transfer to Serko, encompassing the platform\u2019s business operations, intellectual property, and the expert team that has driven GetThere\u2019s success. Serko will maintain the GetThere brand, preserving a continuity of service for its esteemed clientele, which includes blue-chip corporations across North America. This strategic transition is not expected to significantly impact Sabre\u2019s financial outlook, with anticipated stability in revenue, Adjusted EBITDA, and free cash flow through 2024.
