Lufthansa Group Celebrates 25 Years of help alliance with Special Airbus A321neo Tribute

Lufthansa Group is celebrating a significant milestone as it marks the 25th anniversary of the help alliance, the company’s dedicated aid organization, founded by its employees in Frankfurt am Main. In honor of this special occasion, Lufthansa is making a powerful statement of solidarity across Europe. This autumn, an Airbus A321neo, featuring the ‘help alliance’ logo and vibrant “helping hands,” will be flying within Lufthansa’s European route network.

This unique aircraft is a tribute to the thousands of individuals who have passionately supported the help alliance over the past 25 years. It also serves as a platform for raising funds, allowing supporters to leave a colorful handprint on the plane. With space for 300 handprints, these can be purchased at helpalliance.org, with proceeds going towards providing schoolbooks, meals, and other necessities for children in Africa and India.

The initiative reflects Lufthansa Group’s broader commitment to social responsibility and sustainable development. Over the years, the help alliance has supported more than 160 projects worldwide, focusing on education, health, and economic development. This anniversary not only celebrates past achievements but also renews Lufthansa’s dedication to making a positive impact on global communities in the years to come.
