Taiwan takes center stage at the outdoor Adventure Show: Culture, nature, and adventure await

In March, the Taiwan Tourism Administration (TTA) left a memorable mark at Canada’s premier Outdoor Adventure Show, showcasing Taiwan’s allure in Vancouver (March 2-3) and Calgary (March 16-17). Alongside partners such as China Airlines and One Dream Travel, and with the participation of Lion Travel, SITA World Tours, and Supera Tours in Vancouver, the TTA booths provided a comprehensive glimpse into Taiwan’s rich cultural tapestry, stunning natural wonders, and adventurous ethos.

Visitors to the booths were treated to an immersive Taiwanese experience, featuring the Taiwanese Pinball game by TTA, where they could win prizes, collect Taiwan-themed souvenirs, and gather abundant information for future travels. Cycling aficionados were especially drawn to learning about Taiwan’s extensive network of cycling paths. The possibility of circumnavigating the island in roughly 10 days offers cyclists a unique chance to soak in Taiwan’s picturesque landscapes. Additionally, TTA showcased two flagship initiatives:

• Complimentary Half-Day Tours: Travelers on layovers ranging from 7 to 24 hours are eligible for free 4-hour tours around northern Taiwan, with options for morning, afternoon, or evening explorations, allowing for a rich variety of experiences across several visits.
