Dolce&Gabbana, in partnership with JDS Development Group, has launched its inaugural real estate and condo hotel venture in the United States, 888 Brickell. This pioneering project introduces a unique design innovation with the Grand Residences, offering a fluid transition between expansive living spaces and individual suites, all while maintaining privacy through separate entrances for owners and guests. The initiative also allows residence owners to rent their Dolce&Gabbana-styled homes through the hotel’s rental program during periods of non-use. The development boasts 250 elegantly appointed rooms and suites, alongside six dining establishments including a signature ground-floor restaurant, two bars located within the grand lobby, a poolside restaurant and bar, a demonstration kitchen, and private dining options. The design ethos reflects Dolce&Gabbana’s commitment to craftsmanship, blending luxurious materials and the brand’s iconic color palette to create a seamless blend of opulent hotel living and residential luxury.

The project’s main lobby is a testament to luxury, featuring black and burgundy marble and bespoke Venetian chandeliers, embodying the signature Dolce&Gabbana aesthetic of black, gold, and red. A prominent black marble staircase leads to the hotel’s check-in and private areas for residents and guests, including a plush bar lounge designed for relaxation and entertainment. The event space is a showcase of design excellence, with bronze palms and venetian chandeliers, set against a backdrop of the brand’s renowned leopard print.

Dolce&Gabbana collaborated with M2Atelier studio to bring the design visions of Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana to life, leveraging a long-standing partnership to craft the interiors of 888 Brickell. The amenities extend to the Dolce&Gabbana 888 Pool Club, complete with a gelateria, bar, and restaurant, alongside health and wellness offerings like a padel court, fitness center, and spa with bespoke treatments. Exclusive features for residents include a theater, lounge, children’s playroom, and a 44′ lap pool, highlighting the vibrant Miami and Brickell neighborhood spirit.

Alfonso Dolce CEO at Dolce&Gabbana says: “After the launch of our Casa Collection in 2021, it was natural to follow with a hotel and residential strategy ensuring the very best of Italian hospitality. For us, the cultural vibrancy of Miami is the perfect backdrop for our world debut in the real estate sector with ‘fatto a mano’ (handmade) craftsmanship at its heart. The project will embody the very essence of the Dolce&Gabbana universe – a luxurious, timeless design experience.”

Michael Stern, Founder and CEO at JDS Development Group says: “The global real estate spotlight is shining on Miami and Brickell, in particular due to many prominent businesses relocating to the area. This extraordinary, branded condo hotel for Miami will ensure that the demand for world leading, design led spaces with unparalleled views can be fulfilled; we are extremely proud to launch the collaboration with Dolce&Gabbana in this iconic tower. The fashion house’s pursuit of quality and detail in design — together with their ability to create a beautiful world of authentic lifestyle filled with incredible hospitality — guarantees we are embarking on a successful, creative journey for our future visitors, guests, and residents alike.”

The residences at 888 Brickell are designed with unparalleled flexibility, allowing a three-bedroom home to transform into separate hotel rooms and suites, providing owners with the option to utilize the property’s five-star amenities. The dual-use concept is supported by separate entrances, ensuring privacy and independence. The luxury market in Miami continues to thrive, with premium rates for hotel and condominium rentals, driven by significant migration and income growth in the region.

Topping the Miami skyline, 888 Brickell will become the city’s tallest building, setting a new architectural benchmark. The design, a collaborative effort with Studio Sofield, draws inspiration from modernist skyscrapers and Milanese mid-century aesthetics, featuring a distinctive façade of ivory travertine and matte black steel, complemented by a striking gold ‘necklace’ at street level.
