LOT Polish Airlines Launches New Routes to Oradea and Athens for Bolstering its Presence in Europe

LOT Polish Airlines, a prominent member of Star Alliance and a leading carrier in Central and Eastern Europe, continues its trajectory of sustainable expansion by introducing two new European destinations to its global network. Commencing from June 3rd, flights to Oradea in Romania will be operational, marking LOT Polish Airlines’ triumphant return to Athens.

Oradea, a Romanian city nestled near the Hungarian border, is a treasure trove for urban explorers. With a rich historical tapestry dating back to the ancient Romans and adorned with stunning architecture spanning baroque and Art Nouveau eras, it promises a captivating journey. LOT Polish Airlines will operate flights four times a week from its hub in Warsaw to Oradea, boasting a mere 90-minute flight duration. The service will be facilitated by Embraer E170 and E175 aircraft.

For travelers from India seeking to venture into lesser-known destinations, Oradea beckons with convenience. LOT Polish Airlines offers a seamless journey from Delhi via Warsaw, enabling adventurers to commence their European escapade effortlessly. Departing every Monday and Saturday at 8:00 AM from Delhi, passengers arrive in Oradea at 5:00 PM local time on the same day, with a brief 100-minute layover in Warsaw, totaling 11 hours and 30 minutes in travel time.

Additionally, LOT Polish Airlines now offers daily flights between Warsaw and Athens, catering to the quintessential European itinerary. Departing from Warsaw at 9:30 AM, passengers reach Athens by 1:10 PM local time, allowing ample opportunity to delve into the city’s iconic landmarks such as the Acropolis and other mesmerizing ancient sites.
