Beyond providing a haven of luxury, it stands as a beacon of environmental stewardship, integrating conscious practices into every facet of its operations, setting a new benchmark for eco-friendly hospitality.
At Fairmont Jaipur, our dedication to sustainability encompasses various initiatives. We are committed to reducing food wastage through innovative methods. Leveraging Orbisk’s image-capturing technology, we meticulously track food wastage, enabling us to minimize it significantly. Adopting a “first in, first out” inventory system and implementing precise portion control measures have further reduced plate waste by 30%. Additionally, we prioritize responsible sourcing, emphasizing seasonal and local ingredients to reduce our carbon footprint.
Our sustainability efforts extend beyond food waste management. With an on-site Organic Waste Converter (OWC) machine, we convert biodegradable food waste into nutrient-rich manure for our vegetable and herb garden, promoting sustainable agriculture practices and soil preservation. By integrating Orbisk technology with our OWC machine, we ensure a comprehensive waste management approach, enhancing environmental stewardship while upholding culinary excellence.

Our ‘Soap for Hope’ program repurposes guest room soaps to benefit underprivileged communities. Additionally, we incorporate used coffee grounds into our herb garden compost, demonstrating our commitment to environmental responsibility and farm-to-table freshness.
Furthermore, we’ve implemented various sustainable practices such as banning overfished species, using free-range eggs, employing eco-friendly cleaning products, and providing 5EV charging stations for electric cars. Water conservation is a core focus, with low-flow features in guest rooms and rainwater harvesting systems installed throughout the property.
