On April 15, Rocky Mountaineer launched its first trip for the 2024 season from its Vancouver base, setting off toward Banff. This distinguished rail service, famous for its panoramic glass-domed trains, traverses the regions of Western Canada and the American Southwest. These trains operate exclusively during daylight, presenting passengers with some of North America’s most breathtaking vistas. The initial departure schedule for each of Rocky Mountaineer’s four memorable routes includes:

• April 15: First Passage to the West (Vancouver – Kamloops – Banff)
• April 16: Journey Through the Clouds (Vancouver – Kamloops – Jasper)
• April 25: Rockies to the Red Rocks (Denver – Glenwood Springs – Moab)
• April 27: Rainforest to Gold Rush (Vancouver – Whistler – Quesnel – Jasper)

Enhancements have been made to the dining options on the Canadian journeys, where passengers can now select from a variety of dishes that reflect the local cuisine of the regions the train passes. Rocky Mountaineer is committed to using locally sourced produce, continuing its support for regional suppliers.

For those wishing to delve deeper into the Canadian Rockies, Rocky Mountaineer offers the Circle Journey package, allowing travelers to combine two legendary train adventures. These packages vary from eight to 14 nights, including up to five days on the train.

This year marks a new partnership between Rocky Mountaineer and the Moab Music Festival, linking travelers to one of the Southwest’s premier musical gatherings. The exclusive Sounds in the Southwest package, available from September 3 to 11, 2024, promises an eight-night itinerary filled with music and travel.
