Brussels Airlines is pleased to announce that it has successfully reached an agreement with the cabin crew unions regarding their compensation package. All involved unions signed the agreement today. Cabin crew members will be briefed on the specifics of the agreement in the near future. This agreement aligns with the budgetary projections and primarily aims at enhancing the appeal of a long-term career with Brussels Airlines for cabin crew members.
During the COVID-19 crisis, Brussels Airlines employees made significant sacrifices to ensure the survival of the company. With the airline now returning to profitability, a new agreement has been forged to improve the financial well-being of the cabin crew members, mindful of the airline’s delicate cost situation. The agreement is designed to make a long-term career at Brussels Airlines more attractive, offering a higher salary scale for pursers, bonus payments for senior pursers, and additional incentives for instructors and cabin crew in managerial roles. Additionally, all cabin crew members will benefit from an increase in their overnight allowance among other perks.
